E 2ND STREET REHAB/RECONSTRUCT

The City of Washington, Kansas, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the referenced project as described below in the Invitation to Bid. 

MOWING

City of Washington is currently accepting bids for lawn mowing and lawn maintenance for the city cemetery, city ballpark, and city campground/park/swimming pool.   A copy of the Request for Proposal/Bids including scope of work is available at Washington City Hall located at 301 C Street, Washington, Kansas 66968 or dowloaded below.  A walk-through of the scope of work prior to bid submission is required and can be arranged by contacting Carl Chalfant, City Administrator, at 785-325-2284.  Sealed bids are to be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at the aforementioned address no later than 1 pm Thursday, April 3, 2025, at which time said bids will be opened.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

COMPUTERS 

The City of Washington, Kansas, is inviting sealed bids for computers and setup/installation onto the existing network and transfer of files.  Bids will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 296, 301 C Street, Washington, Kansas 66968, until 1:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025.  Bid packet can be obtained at City Hall or downloaded below.

PHONE SYSTEMS

The City of Washington, Kansas, is inviting sealed bids for phone systems.  Bids will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 296, 301 C Street, Washington, Kansas 66968, until 1:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025.  Bid packet can be obtained at City Hall or downloaded below.

COLD MIX

The City of Washington, Kansas, is inviting bids for cold mix. Proposals will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 296, 301 C Street, Washington, Kansas 66968, until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025. All bids should be clearly marked “Cold Mix Bid”.  Faxed bids will be accepted at 785-325-2678.

INSURANCE

The City of Washington is requesting bids for insurance coverage.  Bids are due by Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to City of Washington, 301 C Street, Washington, KS.  Bids should be addressed attention to City Clerk, 301 C Street, Washington, KS 66968 and clearly identified as “Insurance Bids”.  Bids will be presented to council at a special council meeting.
